Oslandia will be at PostGIS Day 2026 | Thursday, November 19 | 8 a.m. (Pacific Time) / 4 p.m. (UTC)
A full day dedicated to open-source geospatial computing, real-world case studies, and a live Q&A session with the people shaping the future.
Loïc Bartoletti and Jean Felder will present a talk on “3D Urban Planning with PostGIS SFCGAL”
SFCGAL 2.3.0 added initial support for NURBS and new roof shapes, which will be available in PostGIS 3.7.0. Thanks to this, we can create realistic 3D urban planning. We will demonstrate how to use NURBS and how to generate 3D buildings with realistic roofs (single-slope, gable, hipped, etc.).
